Foz do Arelho, 8 km from the city of Caldas da Rainha, is bordered to the north by the Atlantic and to the south by Lake Óbidos. The campsite is located in the tourist area of western Portugal, in the midst of nature and with beautiful iodized beaches of fine golden sand. You can visit its historical heritage, which includes the thermal hospital, churches, chapels and museums, see its traditional ceramic-ware or the beautiful landscapes of the beaches in Foz do Arelho and Salir do Porto. You can also play sports on Lake Óbidos, the largest and most enchanting lake on the Portuguese coast, or go trekking in Paúl de Tornada, the nature reserve on Berlenga island - the only marine reserve in the country, in the Serra do Socorro or in the Serra de Montejunto Natural Park.

Angeiras campsite is located 8 km from Porto, opposite the beautiful beach of a fishing village in the north of Portugal. People from Porto tend to visit it on days off and during the weekends. In natural surroundings, with numerous big trees, it has very well-equipped facilities, a mini-market, res see moretaurant and bar – both with a fireplace -, a beautiful terrace with views over the swimming pool, which is free for users of the area. We would recommend a visit to Porto, which boasts the Palácio da Bolsa, the Fundação de Serralves, the whole of the historical Ribeira area, on the banks of the Duero, with its bars where you can sample the local cuisine. You can also visit the Port wine cellars, with tastings included.
Located in the midst of the Lavos forest, the campsite is 400m from a magnificent beach. It has three shower blocks as well as a swimming-pool and bungalows. The wide beach of Figueira da Foz and the city of Coimbra, packed with monuments and history are both worth a visit. The Sierra da Boa Viagem see moreis a nature reserve and paradise for nature-lovers. Conímbriga also offers you the chance to visit the beautiful 1st century AD Roman remains.
Just 1.5 km from Playa da Luz and 6 from the town of Lagos, you will find the Orbitur Valverde campsite. It is large, with 600 numbered plots, a spacious free area and ample shade. It has four shower blocks and swimming-pool for adults and children, free to users, as well as a leisure-centre which i see mores lit at night. It offers a wide choice of accommodation with modern facilities, social area, bar and terraces, restaurant, self-service and a mini-market. A visit to Lagos is recommended - a historic city which was the centre of trade between Africa and Portugal, the marina, Sagres town and Cape San Vicente.
