Orbitur Madalena Situated in a pine wood, 500m from Madalena beach and 10km from the centre of the town of Gaia, this quality campsite combines the beach, the countryside and the city to provide you with an excellent holiday. Apart from north Portugal’s beautiful beaches, which extend the length of the Duero Liter see moreal region’s coast, we would recommend a trip to Gaia to visit the Solar dos Condes de Campo Belo, the Matriz church and the Casa Museu de Teixeira Lopes. The campsite has accommodation, commercial services and good sport and leisure areas, which include several swimming-pools. You must not forget to try the roast lamb, and the Duero region’s famous wines.

Orbitur Sagres The first caravels to bring “news from the new world” during the times of Portuguese exploration left from Sagres. Here also, 1km from the beach, you will find a beautiful campsite set in the midst of pine woods, with good commercial services and a welcoming atmosphere. It has mobile-homes and b see moreicycles for hire. The surroundings are ideal for quiet walks with a blue background to the sea. Nearby, the castles of Silves, Aljezur and Alcoutim evoke the historical Arab presence in the zone, which also offers many fine examples of art and tiles in the baroque churches. Cape S. Vicente stands out both for its history and great natural beauty. Sagres also offers a rich cuisine with a lot of fresh fish. We would recommend the grilled bream and the barnacles, which are served hot.

Very good areas offering different options for whatever you may want. Could benefit (or not) from having a swimming pool. I wish the coffee would close a bit later at night, maybe at 00h30, but that could possibly ruin the quietness of the area. Nevertheless you have awesome spots at Sagres like the Dromedário or Água Salgada where you can spend great times. I will surely come back, this place is a great resting place to spend most of your summer, with very friendly and helpfull staff, and it''s surrounded by lots of awesome beaches and places to visit. You can never get bored here.
