The town was declared World Heritage Site by the UNESCO in 1984. Known as the Spanish Versailles, in 1561 the King Philip II declared it Royal Site and it became the Royal Family spring residence. Its gardens, the Royal Palace, the Flowerbed, the King’s Gardens and the Prince’s Gardens are one o see moref the most interesting green areas in Europe. The Aranjuez Casino, the restaurants and bars are the main attraction of one of the most important cultural and historical cities of Spain.
Thanks to its location in the natural park of Sierra de Huétor, the campsite offers you the possibility of enjoying this wonderful environment and the free running animals around the campsite. You can also visit the magnificent Alhambra, the Generalife and a wide range of monuments.
The 2C category campsite has over 18,000m2 and is open year-round. Located in the Natural Park and next to El Berro at an altitude of 650m. The village of 100 people has cafes, restaurants, bakeries and supermarket.
Standing on the campsite main street, you can enjoy one of the best views of Sierra Nevada in all the area. Just 10 minutes away, the well-known city of Granada awaits you. In just 15 minutes you can reach Alhambra. . Bus to the city center. On the highway towards the coast and the Alpujarra.
