The Cañiza campsite is a facility designed for the enjoyment of leisure time, in privileged natural surroundings, very well connected to main transport routes and, at the same time, isolated and peaceful. Numerous complementary activities are offered within the facility providing a stay that can be see more either relaxing or frenetic, from horse-riding to gastronomy and ethnography, from rafting to canyoning or bungee-jumping, not forgetting walking and horse-back routes. You can stay in tents, caravans (with electricity, water and drainage) or in bungalows.
This agreeable campsite in the north of Portugal, located near the Spanish border, offers numerous shaded areas with a good number of electricity points for caravans, as well as a mini-market and restaurant. Just 200m from the beach, one of the attractions of Caminha campsite is its location in a pi see morene wood with views over the Minho Estuary. You can swim and fish both in the river and on the beautiful Caminha beach. And you mustn’t miss a visit to the Santo Antão viewpoint in the Serra da Arga or the water mills in the attractive village of Vilar de Mouros.
When you are in Viana do Castelo, you mustn’t forget to visit our campsite, from which you can access the beach through a gate (that is only closed at night). The campsite has a fair amount of shade, and offers bungalows, commercial services and a swimming-pool free for users. The beach is excelle see morent and is often used by windsurfers. Visit Monte de Santa Lucía and enjoy a magnificent view over the town and river Lima. Don’t forget to sample the area’s culinary wealth and its traditional dance by visiting, for example, an Arraial Minhoto, the typical festive dinner of the Minho region.
